SUSTAINABLE KINGSTON LAUNCH
Sustainable Kingston has selected its first Board of Directors and is ready to take the reins from FOCUS Kingston and the Founding Board. With the Sustainable Kingston Plan and Board now in place, FOCUS Kingston was officially dissolved by a vote of City Council on April 3, 2012. A passing of the torch between Founding Directors and Sustainable Kingston’s first Board of Directors will take place May 8, 2012, during a mix and mingle with Community Partners, past FOCUS members, the Founding Board of Directors and the first Sustainable Kingston Board of Directors comprised of: Sandy Berg (City Councillor), Dan Corbett, Robert Cumming, Patrick Egbunonu, Jennifer Dawson (Kiwala), Viviane Paquin, and Glenn Vollebregt. 

1st ANNUAL SUSTAINABLE KINGSTON COMMUNITY FORUM
About 250 residents of Kingston and surrounding area attended the Sustainable Kingston Community Forum held on January 28 at the Four Points by Sheraton. Participants were involved in the interactive discussions on the four pillars of sustainability. A wrap up report will be published capturing the events of the day and placing some priorities on future activities for the new Sustainable Kingston Corporation.
