Earth Hour: Kingston Unplugged

KingstonUnpluggedKingston Unplugged

Saturday, March 19th, 6:00pm – 9:30pm at Market Square.

Earth Hour aims to inspire and empower individuals, businesses and governments around the world to push climate change to the top of the agenda. It is a revolutionary movement completely powered by YOU – your ideas, interests, ambitions and actions.
In order to recognize Earth Hour, Sustainable Kingston hosts Kingston Unplugged, an off-grid concert powered by solar and wind charged batteries. The Kingston Unplugged event  is also a chance to learn how to ‘go beyond the hour’ offering information on commercial and residential energy conservation programs, opportunities to get involved in renewable energy projects in the community, and interactive displays that educate kids about energy.

Kingston Unplugged takes place on the last Saturday of March each year. We had a great turnout in 2015, and we hope to see an even more faces in 2016!
