Brown’s is now Celebrating 83 years of serving Canadians, supporting our communities, and continually evolving to meet the changing needs of their customers. They provide quality dining solutions to their over 125 clients across Canada, feeding 150, 000 customers daily, while maintaining their roots here in Kingston.

Hosted an event at Queen’s University Botterell Hall called “Making Home Meals Sustainable”. We handed out place mats with my “10 Tips to making home meals sustainable”. We also handed out recipes to help people choose healthy and sustainable. i.e.: taco seasoning, tomato sauce, yogurt etc. We also handed out pamphlets on how to freeze, can or ferment foods to preserve when buying fresh. Local Food Purchases We are a member of Local Food Plus (a non-profit organization that brings farmers and consumers to the table to share in the benefits of environmentally and socially responsible food production). We are maintaining a commitment with this organization through our purchasing practices.
